For 25 years, we have been committed to offering the largest selection of home furnishings and accessories, and the best design services, at the lowest prices.
Jack and Marilyn Hanna founded Sandcastle Designs in 1981 after relocating to Destin from Atlanta, Georgia. During a visit to the area, the Hanna’s became quite enamored with Destin and its natural beauty. Jack, who had a diverse background in sales, marketing, and management, and Marilyn, who had a degree in Interior Design, saw a temendous opportunity to utilize their background and skills to serve the people of this fast-growing community.
The Hanna’s envisioned a complete design and home furnishings center with a talented staff and a friendly and customer-driven atmosphere.
Jack and Marilyn recruited the most talented design consultants to assist both full and part-time residents with the fun, but often challenging, task of planning and coordinating their furnishings. They have always insisted that customers be allowed to determine how much or how little assistance they receive when they visit the showroom.
Today, the Hanna’s daughter and son-in-law, Kaycee and Chuck Barrington, continue a tradition of commitment to quality, value, and service. The Sandcastle Designs family is recognized and respected by industry peers for their business leadership and innovation. |
